States Share Sustainability Plans and Processes

States were asked to share the sustainability plans they included in their most recent Lifespan Respite grant proposals to ACL. States spoke generally about their proposed sustainability strategies.

Doris Green with the NY State Caregiving and Respite Coalition and Deana Prest with the New York State Office for the Aging, a state that has undertaken a deliberative process for sustainability planning using the Finance Project Toolkit, talked about their sustainability planning process, who is involved, resources used to guide the process, and anticipated threats.  Discussion from other states flowed from this initial presentation.
