The innovative Volunteer Respite Squad is run by Age Well, a large Area Agency on Aging in Vermont. The program won a 2021 USAging Recognition Award in the Caregiving Category. During this presentation, you will learn about the development and growth of the program; how volunteers are recruited and trained; how volunteers are supported to maximize retention; and what types of activities volunteers do to support family caregivers.
