Final Report of the Lifespan Respite Learning Collaborative on National Strategy Implementation

A Learning Collaborative on Implementation of the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers was convened by ARCH from February 2023 to September 2024. It focused on helping Lifespan Respite grantees and state respite coalitions assume leadership roles in their respective states to facilitate implementation of the respite recommendations in the 2022 National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers from the Administration for Community Living.  The Learning Collaborative provided opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and support, and training and technical assistance from ARCH.  Read more about the Learning Collaborative.

A final report, Empowering Lifespan Respite Care Program Leadership in Implementation of the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers, was prepared that summarizes the highlights of Learning Collaborative guest presentations and group discussions. It includes a discussion of successes, challenges, and lessons learned in National Strategy implementation as well as recommendations for advancing respite care at the state and community levels.
