Illinois Caregiver Survey Results

The survey was conducted by the Illinois Respite Coalition in collaboration with the IL Lifespan Respite grantee to help inform the work of the IL Lifespan Respite Task Force.

The graphs included in this report represent the responses from caregivers across the state of Illinois who were caring for individuals across the lifespan. The data represent responses from 373 caregivers. Forty percent of those who responded reported that they do not receive respite. Overwhelmingly, caregivers preferred in-home respite (61.3%).
