Nevada Lifespan Respite Care Program Data on Caregivers 2012

Data on caregivers in this report came from applications, assessments, pre- and post-respite surveys, and voucher claim forms. This information was collected and recorded by two voucher administrative programs funded under the Lifespan Respite Care Grant. The data represents the most comprehensive study of caregivers yet completed in Nevada. It will provide a basis for future studies, will be valuable in formulating strategies for serving and supporting more families statewide, and will provide insight into the complex process of providing respite to a
diverse population of caregivers.  Initial data on caregiver outcomes from the voucher program are also provided.
