North Carolina Volunteer Caregiver Respite Consortium
Developed by the Center for Volunteer Caregiving in Cary, NC, as an initiative included in the State’s three-year Lifespan Respite Grant. The Center for Volunteer Caregiving has pledged ongoing support to administer and lead the consortium beyond 2023.
With the support of the NC Division of Aging and Adult Services, this is an initiative to build a consortium of organizations and groups across the State of North Carolina that are operating
volunteer respite programs for family caregivers. The purpose of the initiative is to facilitate information sharing among programs, support the expansion of existing programs, and support the creation of new programs across the State.
