Ohio Respite Coalition Lifespan Respite Strategic Plan, 2013-2018

The Ohio Respite Coalition (ORC) is a statewide collaboration among family members, caregivers, advocates, respite providers, agencies, community groups, and state and local government officials who believe all caregivers could use a break once in a while. This strategic plan highlights the Ohio Respite Coalition’s five-year approach to increasing the
availability of respite services in the state. The coalition is supported by a three year (2011-2014) Lifespan Respite Program grant from the Administration on Aging (AoA) (now part of the
Administration for Community Living (ACL), administered by the Ohio Department of Aging. The goals, strategies and tactics outlined in this plan will set a framework for how the Coalition will approach year three of the grant and beyond.
