Carers NSW Australia, the peak non-government organization for family and friend carers in the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW), conducts a biennial survey on carers, with the last survey conducted nationally in 2020. Respite is a key interest of theirs, and they have extensive data on carers’ use of respite services and general access to quality breaks from the caring role.
On Tuesday 4 May 2021, Carers NSW officially launched the policy paper, Repositioning respite within consumer directed service systems, on behalf of the Carer Respite Alliance.
PRESENTERS
